Modules

Additional optional rules

Modules are supplementary rule sets you can add to the base rules. They can add depth to parts of your story, as long as everyone in the group agrees to use them. Do none of the Origins fit your character? Make your own with the Create Your Own Origin module. Want your character to grow in skill over the stories? The module Experience Points is what you want. If the nuances of a battle become important to play out, use the Tactical Combat module.

Module: Create your own Origin

It’s possible that you have an idea for your Mythmaker that doesn’t quite fit the Origins in this book. Maybe you want to play an Analyst who lives on a boat and is therefore skilled at sailing. Or maybe you want to play a Mythmaker who comes from a different time period than the 8th or 21st century. It’s important that you are allowed to be who you want to be. That’s why there are a few options below to help you with this.

Module: Experience Points

Characters change. They develop and grow, and learn from their mistakes and victories.

Maybe your character has experienced things that have changed their personality or opinions. Maybe your character broke something that never fully healed. You can show these kinds of changes in your roleplay at the table.

Module: Tactisch Combat

This module covers how to play out a battle tactically; useful when the nuance of a fight is important for the outcome. This module works well on a grid-based map.
